Can’t connect to ChatGPT?The high traffic of more than 25 million times per day makes the website unbearable | Anue tycoon- US stock radar

Recently, when ChatGPT users click on the webpage, they always receive a notification of “too high demand”, and they can’t even log in. This is no surprise, as its traffic is growing at an alarming rate.

According to similarweb data, the traffic of OpenAI, the parent company of ChatGPT, is growing rapidly, 92% of which are for accessing the legitimate chat robot ChatGPT.

similarweb pointed out that the chat.openai.com subdomain of ChatGPT had more than 25 million daily visits last week, with an average daily increase of about 519,000 visits.

This makes openai.com the 44th best site on the web, according to Similarweb’s January rankings.

Similarweb estimated that there were more than 82.9 million searches for ChatGPT and related terms in January. Over the past 28 days, 28% of openai.com’s traffic came from organic search and 3.4% from social media.

Among community recommendations, 56.7% came from YouTube, 12.4% from WhatsApp, 10% from Facebook, and 6.9% from Twitter.

While nearly 65.6% of openai.com’s traffic comes from direct clicks, reflecting strong brand awareness and repeat visits, another 28% comes from organic search—people want to know where to find the app they’ve heard about.

YouTube gets the lion’s share of the traffic, as many YouTube users create tutorials on what ChatGPT can do and how to get it to execute various commands.

Only 11% of openai.com’s traffic came from within the United States, with India becoming the largest source of traffic, accounting for 11.4% of visits.

According to a report by UBS, just two months after ChatGPT was launched, its monthly active users at the end of January 2023 had exceeded 100 million, making it the fastest growing consumer app in history.

It took TikTok nine months to reach 100 million users, and Instagram two and a half years, according to Sensor Tower.
