As of January 10, the ICE U.S. dollar index speculative net long position decreased by 1221 contracts (or 6.9%) to 16540 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions increased by 757 contracts (or 2.3%) to 33928 contracts, and speculative short positions increased by 1978 contracts (or 12.8%) to 17388 contracts.
Euro Index Weekly Chart
As of January 10, the euro speculative net long position increased by 5067 contracts (or 3.9%) to 134982 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions increased by 16,080 shares (or 7.2%) to 238,623 shares, and speculative short positions increased by 11,013 shares (or 11.9%) to 103,641 shares.
GBP Index Weekly Chart
As of January 10, sterling speculative net short positions increased by 9155 contracts (or 45.1%) to 29456 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions decreased by 7618 contracts (or 17.5%) to 36007 contracts, while speculative short positions increased by 1537 contracts (or 2.4%) to 65463 contracts.

As of January 10, the Swiss franc speculative net short position increased by 4516 contracts (or 158.2%) to 7370 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions decreased by 2,964 (or 44.7%) to 3,668, while speculative short positions increased by 1,552 (or 16.4%) to 11,038.

As of January 10, the speculative net short position in the yen decreased by 11,487 contracts (or 24.5%) to 35,377 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions increased by 1,018 (or 4.0%) to 26,395, while speculative short positions decreased by 10,469 (or 14.5%) to 61,772.

As of January 10, Canadian dollar speculative net short positions increased by 4189 contracts (or 15.7%) to 30955 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions decreased by 3331 contracts (or 13.1%) to 22166 contracts, while speculative short positions increased by 858 contracts (or 1.6%) to 53121 contracts.

As of January 10, the Australian dollar speculative net short position decreased by 2577 contracts (or 7.1%) to 33690 contracts. Among them, the speculative long position decreased by 4998 shares (or 14.2%) to 30210 shares, and the speculative short position decreased by 7575 shares (or 10.6%) to 63900 shares.

As of January 10, gold speculative net longs increased by 8,869 contracts (or 6.3%) to 150,535 contracts, the sixth consecutive weekly increase and the highest since the week of June 28 last year. Among them, speculative long positions increased by 12,765 (or 5.5%) to 243,566, and speculative short positions increased by 3,896 (or 4.4%) to 93,031.
