This is the second highest revenue after Rs 1.42 crore reported in March 2022.
The April collection was Rs 25,000 crore higher than the March collection.
GST Collection The total amount of GST collected in April was Rs 16,754 crore, of which CGST was Rs 33,159 crore, SGST was Rs 41,793 crore, IGST was Rs 81,939 crore and cess was Rs 10,649 crore.
April 2022 earnings were 20% higher than GST earnings for the same month last year. Imported goods revenue rose 30% this month, while domestic transaction revenue rose 17%.
This is the first time the total GST has exceeded Rs 150,000.
