Snow accumulates across central, eastern New Hampshire; some roads slippery

good monday morning we’re dealing with some bursts of moderate, even at times, heavy snow out there that could briefly reduce visibility on area roadways, most of the actions across southern parts of the state right now across the lakes region, Upper Valley, White Mountains, Great North Woods. Not much has happened has happened overnight. Although *** few of those bands of wintry mix and snow you see over northern parts, the main, those will rotate as the day goes on so its impact weather today because of those bursts of snow continuing this morning, that again, could briefly reduce visibility on roads and we have *** lot of snow covered roads out there as well. So if you have to do any travelling, leave yourself *** little bit of extra time for the next several hours, all the areas you see here shaded in purple. This is where we have *** winter weather advisory that continues through midnight tonight. So it’s *** long duration event although it won’t be snowing the entire time. We at least have to be on guard for what could be an additional coating to as much as an inch of snow. Note the intensity of the snow waning here later on this morning, but *** few more bands rotate in later on this afternoon. No, all the pink colors over parts of Maine. They are getting what is going to be *** sleet and freezing rain event. Through the rest of monday *** few bands of sleep may even make it close to the immediate coastline and in parts of the north country, you can see those bands of snow mix continuing through this evening with *** general drying trend overnight, and we should start our Tuesday with some breaks of sunshine, so an additional coating inch still to come through this evening before conditions finally dry out in time for Tuesday sunshine increasing clouds our temperatures back in the forties, so several degrees above the average for mid week, Wednesday, even *** few degrees warmer, with *** few light rain or snow showers, and then we’ll have to keep *** close eye on *** more significant system that gets its act together Later on this week, it looks like we could see some periods of rain, wintry mix or snow Thursday night into Friday.
