As of January 03, the ICE U.S. dollar index speculative net long position increased by 820 contracts (or 4.8%) to 17,761 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions increased by 29 contracts (or 0.1%) to 33171 contracts, while speculative short positions decreased by 791 contracts (or 4.9%) to 15410 contracts.

As of January 03, the euro speculative net long position decreased by 16,247 contracts (or 11.1%) to 129,915 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions decreased by 29,344 (or 11.6%) to 222,543, and speculative short positions decreased by 13,097 (or 12.4%) to 92,628.
