As of January 17, the ICE U.S. dollar index speculative net long position decreased by 3182 contracts (or 19.2%) to 13358 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions decreased by 2,234 (or 6.6%) to 31,694, while speculative short positions increased by 948 (or 5.5%) to 18,336.

As of January 17, the euro speculative net long position decreased by 7998 contracts (or 5.9%) to 126984 contracts. Among them, speculative long positions decreased by 10,344 (or 4.3%) to 228,279, and speculative short positions decreased by 2,346 (or 2.3%) to 101,295.
